Este encargo me ha hecho recordar lo mucho que me apasiona el arte, en todas sus vertientes. Pulchra leonina, bella leonesa, catedral gótica increíble por el espectáculo de luz que alberga, la piedra se minimizó al máximo para dar protagonismo a las vidrieras aportando gran ligereza al conjunto. Cuántas anécdotas, misterios y curiosidades tendrían que contarnos esas vidrieras... 

Este colgante rinde homenaje a este gran monumento, en concreto el rosetón norte, el más antiguo de la catedral, y al sur, ya que comparten diseño. Sin embargo, el norte se caracteriza por todos fríos y serenos, el sur por los cálidos e intensos. 

Arquitectura, luz y emoción en un colgante destinado a traer brillo al nuevo camino que comienza la persona a la que va dirigido. La turmalina de su centro comparte las propiedades del rosetón, armonía y equilibrio, el tono rosado además conecta con el corazón. Una pieza llena de amor, historia y emoción para que perdure en el tiempo como la joya arquitectónica que representa.

This commission has reminded me just how passionate I am about art, in all its forms. Pulchra leonina, the beautiful cathedral of León, an incredible Gothic cathedral thanks to the spectacular play of light it houses where the stone was minimized as much as possible to let the stained-glass windows take center stage, lending a great sense of lightness to the whole. Just how many stories, mysteries, and curiosities those stained-glass windows must have to tell us...

This pendant pays tribute to this great monument, specifically the north rose window, the cathedral’s oldest, and the south rose window, since they share the same design. However, the north rose window is characterized by cool, serene tones, while the south rose window features warm, intense hues.

Architecture, light, and emotion come together in a pendant designed to bring radiance to the new journey that the person for whom it is intended is about to embark upon. The tourmaline at its center shares the same qualities as the rose window,harmony and balance, while its pink colour also connects with the heart. A piece filled with love, history, and emotion, meant to stand the test of time just like the architectural gem it represents.
