Amethyst is a stone with a very strong and beautiful energy. Its legend says that Dionysus gave it that colour when his tears fell on the beautiful Amethystos, turned into a white quartz statue by Artemis as protection... I love the legends of ancient mythologies, they serve as a reflection on life and endow the stones with even more magic than they already have with their amazing energies. You know how much I like to hide small openwork in my pieces. I go a lot to my adored sacred geometry and to the flower of life, present in many cultures. Here, in Asturias, it's called water flower. Eternal symbol of protection and good energies, that's why it is the perfect match for the amethyst.

This stone has been hanging around the workshop for a long time, it has something special and I never found the ideal moment for it, until now, perhaps because its properties are just what was needed. It is a Chevron amethyst, so called because of its V shape, it combines bands of white quartz with the purple of the amethyst. It brings clarity and serenity, so necessary in these times we live in. Motifs inspired by nature accompany and embrace the piece, enhancing its properties.

These are uncertain times, these days it's more complicated to feel nature, but while we see it through the windows, in the workshop this pendant with a shining sun, an amethyst and a trisquel hidden behind it emerged. Each element forms an important part of the soul of a very special person who received this personalized gift for her birthday. These are times to love, to take care of yourself and to enjoy small things that sometimes we forget where they are.
This pendant is a sample of how well we are doing, of how much we like to take care of the people around. I send you the best energy with the images of this piece that pretends to act as a powerful talisman taking care of its beautiful owner.

This is a precious stone that has iron and other trace minerals within its structure that gives it the purple colour. Amethyst is a protective and powerful gemstone, it transmutes the energy into love and protects the person who wears it from all types of harm. Its a great gemstone to meditate, it works in the spiritual and physical planes to promote calm and peace. If you want to remember the legend that accompanies amethyst in Greek mythology, you can see it in this post.
This pendant carries a few details in silver to enhance the natural beauty of the stone and its properties, branches that lead to a heart to make it bloom giving rise to the flower that appears on the pendant....

Thanks to my mum, astrology has always been something important in our family, and I love to make pieces related to it. Some time ago a precious sagittarius ordered me a pendant with her sign, now it's time for her sisters to have pendants of their sign pisces. Two lovely ladies with great sensitivity and natural charm. The magic stone of piscis is the amethyst, an incredible stone for its beautiful color, its light and its properties. I have included it in the design so that the pendant shines even more in them.

According to Greek mythology, Dionysus, god of wine, wanted a maiden named Amethystas, who wished to remain chaste. The goddess Artemis listened to her prayers, and transformed the woman into a crystalline rock. When Dionysus saw that the girl of her dreams had become a block of quartz crystal, she wept some tears of wine upon her that turned her into purple.
It is a wonderful stone with a great energy charge, capable of transforming negative energy into positive energy, bringing peace to the soul. Maybe that's why these amethysts suggested the shape of the lotus flower for this necklace, a flower that in the east symbolizes spiritual purity.

This is an example of how jewels that are no longer being used. can be transformed into a new piece, silver was melted and the amethysts set on new cabochons, hence this lotus flower was born, a symbol of spiritual rebirth as well as the new rebirth of material with wich is made.

Personalized mandalas are back, made in silver with cupid's bow, wedding rings and some engraved symbols. One keychain and one pendant, wedding presents filled with lots of affection.
The pendant has a beautiful amethyst gemstone to give the best energy to their marriage. His keychain has half sphere in the center to turn his mandala into a shield that will protect their love forever. I wish this lovely couple the best and I hope they enjoy a lot this pieces.

I enjoy so much with personalized commissions, someone tells you his ideas and together we reach a final design from wich is born an unique piece, that will be worn by the person who make it happen. I think that it's important to interact with people who is around you, especially when they want to share their thoughts, it could be the beginings of beautiful things. Everytime I can, I like to take a cup of cofee with some friends that have always interesting things in mind, talk about their proyects and mine, feeds our creativity, leaves a sweet taste and a big smile. Something similar happens with people that comes to you with an idea that they want you to carry out.

In this case I gave a new life to an old necklace, combining ideas of an especial lady and Lasa joyas inspiration. The working process can be found in my workshop page. The result is a combination of silver that embrace a central amethyst stone, a row of different amethyst stones and a silver chain I made specially for this necklace. I hope you like it.
