Because fathers deserve a special piece too, for the immense love they give us and how special they make us feel. This piece was for one of those fathers who deserve everything, with a Celtic symbol with its roots in Irish mythology... Brigid's story tells us how she explains to her father through a knot that she weaves, that the reeds represent her, the knots are the love and teachings she received from him and the central cross, the most important thing, the one that gives shape to the whole design, is her father...

A very sweet girl made me a commission, a key ring representing the immensity of the love between father and daughter, a commission that touched my heart because of the feeling and the beautiful legend behind this piece. The Celtic knot is a popular Celtic symbol that uses a knot that has no beginning and no end. Each loop, although individual, is part of the whole and cannot be separated, as the relationship between father and daughter.
This Celtic father and daughter symbol tells the story of Brigid and her father, which comes from Irish mythology. It tells the story of a young girl, Brigid, who sat beside her dying father. As Brigid waited in her sorrow, she began to weave a Celtic knot in rushes, as she could not express in words the depth of emotions and love she felt for him. When her father asked her about it, she explained that she was those rushes, the knots and loops were the love and lessons she had received from him... ''And who am I?'', he asked. To which she replied, ''Father, you are the most important piece, the cross in the centre that has shaped the whole design...''

Santa Claus ordered me some pieces this year, one of them was this keychain as a tribute to the rose  since its owner has the same name. The rose is a flower that I love because of the delicacy of its petals, its scent and the amount of them that come out of the plant every year. I've always thought that I had to do some piece with the rose as the protagonist so it has been an immense pleasure to make this keyring. I hope you like the result. Meanwhile I keep working on my bench, the Three Wise Men are waiting...
