Me encanta ir dejando huellitas por el mundo, esta vez una gargantilla y una pulsera de un adorable trio de huellas.

I love leaving lovely pawprints around the world, this time a necklace and a bracelet of a trio of pawprints for animal lovers.







 

Nuestros peludos son grandes compañeros de vida, se llegan a querer muchísimo, es increíble cómo nos cambian la vida para bien. Estas huellitas son homenajes a ellos, para que nos acompañen en todo momento y para mostrar lo orgullosos que estamos de ser amantes de los animales. Esta vez una pulsera con una huellita pequeñita, lo que hace que sea una pieza muy cómoda y delicada.

Our furries are great life partners, we love them so much, it's incredible how they change our lifes for good. These pawprints are a tribute to them, so we can show everyone how proud we are as animal lovers. This time it's a small pawprint for a lovely bracelet, it makes this a comfortable and delicate piece.














 

El bichón maltés es un perro de raza pequeña que surge en el mediterráneo, Italia. Su nombre 'Maltés' viene de 'Mallat' que significa puerto, quizá por su eficacia exterminando las ratas de los barcos. Tiene antepasados muy atrás en el tiempo, ya en el Antiguo Egipto, aparecen estatuillas muy parecidos a ellos. En el XVII y XVIII empezaron a surgir tamaños más pequeños, incluso varios colores, pero en 1959 se instituyó el color blanco, de ahí que ahora veamos a estos pequeños pompones, como me gusta llamarlos, blanquitos. Son cariñosos, leales, incluso buenos como señales de alarma, es un perro ideal para tener junto a tí, simpáticos hasta la médula, esos ojitos oscuros rodeados de su característico blanco nieve les hacen irresistibles. Aquí uno de ellos en forma de pulsera...

The maltese dog is a small breed dog that is supposed to come from Italy. The name 'Maltese' comes from 'Mallat' that means port, maybe because of their great job hunting the rats of the ships. Their ancestors appear back in time, in the Ancient Egipt, lots of statues are very similar to them. In XVII - XVIII you could see smaller maltese dogs and with different colours, it's in 1959 when the white colour is established as the maltese dog colour, thats why we now see these lovely pompoms, as I like to call them, in white. They are loyal, loving, and even great as an alarm dog, they are perfect as companion, a really pleasant dog. Those little dark eyes and that precious white hair makes them irresistible... Cada pieza tiene detrás una historia especial, pero esta me toca muy de cerca. Se trata de una pulsera realizada a mano de principio a fin, llena de huellas de perro. La más grande representa a la madre de unos pequeñajos adorables, que pronto cumplirán un añito. Uno de aquellos cachorros es Runa, mi guapísima husky. Cada huellita tiene grabada por detrás el nombre de a quién pertenece por orden de nacimiento.
Una pulsera hecha con todo el cariño del mundo para alguien muy especial que trajo a Runa a nuestras vidas. Homenaje a una familia de huskies en la que cada uno ha sacado algo que lo hace especial, y todos comparten una indudable belleza. ♥

Each jewelry piece I make has a story behind, but this one touchs my heart. A lovely bracelet full of dog pawprints, one of them bigger than the others, that one represents Shiva, the mother of the cutest and the most adorables husky puppies I've ever seen, that soon will be one year old. One of those is my precious husky Runa. Each pawprint has been engraved with the name of the puppy that represents in order of birth. 
One bracelet made with all my love for someone that brought Runa to our lifes. This bracelet is a tribute for a husky family where every puppy had something that make him/her special, and all of them share an unquestionable beauty. ♥

Esta raza surge en Francia pero es en Estados unidos donde la reconocen por primera vez, aparece en el siglo XIX como compañero de la clase obrera, hoy en día es muy popular. Esas orejitas tan graciosas y su peculiar ronquido lo hacen inconfundible. Son muy afectuosos y juguetones, no hay más que mirar esa carita de mirada melancólica para ver toda la ternura que están deseando compartir contigo. Esta vez es Zara la que da vida al colgante de Bulldog francés, un homenaje  a una estrella en el cielo. ♥

This breed appears in France in XIX century but it's in United States where it's recoignized as dog breed. It was very popular as partner of the working class in Paris. Those funny ears, wrinkly face and their singular snoring makes them unmistakable. They are affectionate and playful, when you look their melancholy look you can see all the tenderness they want to share with you. This time is Zara who inspire this french bulldog pendant, a tribute to a new star in the sky. ♥

Una nueva modelo para un colgante perruno, esta vez se trata de una preciosa cocker. Me encanta lo activos y alegres que son. Espero que estos colgantes hagan felices a tres chicas que comparten aventuras con la bonita Berta.

A new model for a dog pendant, this time it's a beautiful cocker spaniel. I love how active and merry they are. I hope this pendants make happy to three girls that are lucky to spend time with the lovely Berta.

Estos días tengo que tomarme una pausa en el taller pero aprovecho a enseñaros alguno de los últimos trabajos. Un colgante personalizado, Max y su huella, homenaje a un precioso bichón maltes.

These days I can't work on my bench so I have to take some time to rest. Meanwhile I'm going to show you some of the latest works I've been working on. This is a lovely personalized pendant, Max & his paw, a tribute to a beautiful maltese. 

Creando una huella mientras las mías se transforman... Creo que compartir la vida con animales es algo importante, cambia tu modo de ver la vida y la disfrutas mucho más. Dejan en tu interior grandes sentimientos, estas huellas simbolizan el amor animal, si no lo conoces, tienes que probarlo...

Creating a dog pawprint while my handprints are changing... I think that sharing life with animals is something important, it changes your vision of life and you enjoy it much more. They leave inside of you great feelings, this paw print simbolize the animal love, you have to experience it.... 

 

Hace poco un nuevo miembro llegó a la familia, una preciosa husky, Runa, una gran fuente de inspiración. Con ella no he podido evitar hacer estas nuevas piezas. Chapas para nuestros compis peludos, personalizadas y realizadas totalmente a mano, desde el fundido, calado de las letras, soldado, oxidado y pulido de la pieza. En la parte de detrás llevan el número de teléfono para que vayan identificadas nuestras peques en todo momento. Las primeras como no podía ser de otra forma, serán para Runa, una de sus hermanas y su preciosa mami.

With the arrival of a new member of the family, a precious husky puppy called Runa, a great source of inspiration, I couldn't control myself of making these new pieces. Tags for our furries, personalized with their names, on the backside they have engraved their phone number so they can be identify if it's needed. Totally handmade, from the melting of the silver, cutting the metal, oxidising, and final polishing. The first ones goes for my little Runa, one of her sisters and their precious mum. 

Nuevo encargo personalizado, soy una amante de los animales. La chica que me encargó esta pulsera sabe mucho de eso, quería una pulsera homenajeando a sus tres compañeros perrunos. Diseñé para ella una pulsera de plata con chapas colgando, en un lado se pueden ver sus siluetas y por el otro sus nombres con una bonita fuente. Ha llevado trabajo, sobretodo la cadena que requiere paciencia y muchas veces quedarse sin respiración, pero creo que el resultado ha merecido la pena. New personalized work, I'm an animal lover, I really love them. The lady who made me this order knows a lot about it, she ask me for a bracelet as a tribute of her three great dogs. I design for her a silver chain and badges bracelet. This badges have her beautiful dog's silouhette on one side, and their names with a beautiful font on the other. This piece took lot of work, specially the silver chain that takes a lot of patience and sometimes forgetting about breathing, but I think that the end result makes it worth it.
