Some time ago I bought a jeweler's workbench, I wanted a new look for it so I painted it in white to give it more light and I think it was a success, I love working on it and taking pictures of my elaboration processes with it in the background. Today I saw how Splash Jewels mentioned me in their instagram stories as she has painted the drawers of her bench, she has opted for a beautiful turquoise color that fits perfectly with her brand. This has made me think that we could start filling the world with colorful jeweller's workbenches, so if you are a jeweller and would like to personalize yours, go ahead, choose a color and do it, I assure you that you will not regret it. It would be so great if you show me the result with the hashtag #paintyourworkbench on your instagram post of your new and precious workbench.

Amber is a fossilized resin of vegetable origin, that's why it often hides a fossilized mosquito inside. It's a gemstone with which I love to work because of its powerful color and even its nice smell when working by shaping it. In this case, the amber used comes from old necklaces that were not used anymore, they wanted to transform them into a new piece, a bracelet.
Just as the resin helps to heal the wounds in the tree's bark, so it does in the body, it is said that this stone brings vitality to who wears it, you only have to look at the light it shows, it seems as if the rays of the sun lived inside. I wanted to enhance its tree origin by accompanying the piece with floral shapes and leaves, in the back there is a detail in honor of the tree from which these amber stones come. A personalized work with which I have enjoyed a lot and I hope that its new owner does.

There are pieces that are pure love. A while ago her mother received this ring in white gold, now she has it in silver... A ring with your favorite initial is something delicate and elegant, if we also add brightness with a zirconia the piece turns into something precious, don't you think?

We love to keep our furry companions close and also wear small objects that remind us of them. This time it's Whippy the model, a lovely Whippet that melts hearts wherever he goes. Seeing how he can't help running to her family when he sees them is the most tender thing... It has been an immense pleasure to make his portrait in silver, a piece with his face adorning a watch strap for him and a pair of earrings for her, a clear example of a beautiful and happy family.

According to Greek mythology, Dionysus, god of wine, wanted a maiden named Amethystas, who wished to remain chaste. The goddess Artemis listened to her prayers, and transformed the woman into a crystalline rock. When Dionysus saw that the girl of her dreams had become a block of quartz crystal, she wept some tears of wine upon her that turned her into purple.
It is a wonderful stone with a great energy charge, capable of transforming negative energy into positive energy, bringing peace to the soul. Maybe that's why these amethysts suggested the shape of the lotus flower for this necklace, a flower that in the east symbolizes spiritual purity.

This is an example of how jewels that are no longer being used. can be transformed into a new piece, silver was melted and the amethysts set on new cabochons, hence this lotus flower was born, a symbol of spiritual rebirth as well as the new rebirth of material with wich is made.

If you draw circumferences making geometric drawings, the flower of life will surely emerge by chance. It's a spectacular geometry, in which 19 interlaced circles give place in their unions to small flowers. These geometric drawings appear in many cultures, since ancient times.
This figure is full of symbolism, personally it always reminds me that we all have a seed which little by little we let it germinate defining who we are, giving rise to our particular flower. It is what keeps us connected in a unique way with the nature that surrounds us.
