This time I show you a different piece, one frame with a personalized silver and rhodochrosite... A nice wedding present to decorate the new couple's home. The Route of Santiago de Compostela is always a great experience, some pilgrims talk about the faith, the mental peace, others talk about the exercise, others love more enjoying landscapes... But I think this couple had the fortune to feel something more, the magic of destiny... A really special lady make me this commission for a wedding present. One silver mandala as a tribute to a nice love history. The Santiago's shell were they met, a beautiful rhodochrosite heart. This is a great stone with properties as vitality and love. This mandala also hires their inicials and their wedding rings that they will exchange on their special day. You can visit my Workshop to see some of the working process.

I love to think the lady that is going to get this lasa's jewel, is going to increase her endorphins level and feel great wearing it.

A very special commision, you know all my pieces are special for me, but sometimes the feeling is multiply by three, as it is in this case. A silver bracelet created for a great woman, with the names of her sons, daughter and some decorative motifs. I love my work when I can give someone a beautiful and special jewel with big feelings engraved on it.

Some time ago I showed you my wonderful bench, an old office table turned into a jeweller bench by my great jewelry master. I really love it and I thought I would never say this, but it has appeared a great rival... I found a new jewellery bench and I took the opportunity, because of the drawer mostly. I thought I could have it as a second bench.

Then I carried it home and my wonderful and wise husband asked me, why don't you paint it? So I decided to give it a different style of other benches you see in jewellery workshops. I put some coats of white paint and varnish on it and this is the result. It will finally be my new jewellery bench, without forgetting my lovely old bech that now is going to continue in my workshop as an auxiliary table. I'm really happy to have the both of them in my workshop, I can't wait to see what pieces arise from them.

A nice lady called Sandra made me one commission for her sister, it's a nice ring made with La venta de la Tuerta logo. This place is a restaurant managed by these two sisters and her parents. But not only that, it's an inn with lots of stories... Different people have visited this place along tha past two centuries, historical people, travellers, fugitives... Lots of experiences occured there.

I've passed some time of my life behind a bar, I was very lucky because this wasn't any bar, on the contrary, it was a special one that turned into my home, a place with lots of conversations, beautiful ones, sad ones, happy ones... All of them had place in that bar and I enjoyed all of them. It was a really happy period of my life, it helped me to know a lot of different and interesting people that shared with me great things. Thats the reason for what reading the history of La venta de la Tuerta (One-eyed Inn), and the one-eyed innkeeper, makes me imagine those histories she would tell us. It would be as a never-ending intrigue and adventured book, that we would never want to stop reading. But the magic of this Inn doesn't ends in the past, it continues nowadays with new generations that managed this place and still listen to all the stories of the travellers that stop there. One of these decided moving out to a house close to the One-eyed Inn, and he started working on a great proyect dreamed by Sandra, one of the owners. This dream is the Enchanted forest, and this man is Enrique Pinin, an amazing artist that masters different arts and now he is using them to create this magical forest of One-eyed Inn.

It's been a great pleasure having the opportunity to contribute with this ring to the history of this inn. I did my best to represent the beautiful logotype of this special inn. As all my pieces this ring is created by a handmade process, this was the result, I hope you like it.

Is you have visited my site before, you will know how much I love mandalas. Sitting in front  of a millimeter paper sheet, my compass, one propelling pencil and one rule, that is all I need for going into my thoughts and create mandalas. It's great when people ask me for one mandala jewel, I know I will have that special moment to create one and transfer it to silver.

Here I show you a pair of my latest mandala commissions. One with arabesque inspiration because she wanted a special arabic word in the center of it. For the second commission I made two designs, these are the mandala earrings she chose.
